Accessibility statement

RA Fischer Co. is committed to making www.rafischer.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement explains where we stand, what we are working on, and how to reach us if something on our site does not work for you.

The standard we are working to

We are working to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is the standard referenced in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services regulations that apply to healthcare organizations like ours, and it is the benchmark we hold our site to.

Our current status

Partially conformant. This means parts of our website do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have identified a number of issues and are working through them. A full review of our site is underway.

We would rather tell you this plainly than claim a level of accessibility we have not yet reached.

What we know is not working yet

As of October 19, 2026, we are aware of issues in these areas:

  • Forms. Some fields on our insurance and contact forms are not labeled clearly enough for screen readers, and some error messages do not explain how to fix the problem.
  • Images. Some images have descriptions that are too brief to be useful.
  • Menus. Some top-level menu items do not work as expected when navigating by keyboard.
  • Color contrast. Some text and interface elements may not have enough contrast against their background. This is under review.
  • PDF documents. Some of our downloadable documents, including patient instructions and forms, are not yet structured for screen readers.
  • Features from other companies. Our site uses components built by other companies, including the “I’m not a robot” security check, our customer review display, and any embedded video. We do not control how these are built, but we are reviewing them and will replace those that create barriers.

We expect to complete this work by June 30, 2027. We will update this page as items are fixed.

If something does not work, we can help you another way

You do not need to use our website to become a patient or to check your insurance coverage. Everything our site does, our staff can do with you directly:

  • Check your insurance coverage
  • Complete intake paperwork
  • Place or reorder supplies
  • Get product instructions in another format, including large print

Call us at (800) 525-3467, Monday to Friday. There is no additional cost for this, and we will not ask you to explain your disability.

How to tell us about a problem

We want to hear about barriers you run into. Please tell us what page you were on and what happened.

  • Phone (best): (800) 525-3467, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific
  • Fax: (818) 775-2941 — use this for any document
  • Mail: 5400 Atlantis Ct, Moorpark, CA 93021
  • Email: info@rafischer.com — please read the note below first

⚠️ Please do not email medical records, insurance documents, or details about your health condition. Email is not a secure way to send that information. To tell us about an accessibility problem, you do not need to share any health information at all — just the page and what went wrong. If you need to send us a document, please use our fax line or call us.

We aim to respond within 5 business days.

If you are not satisfied with our response

If we have not resolved your concern, please ask to speak with Jennifer Jacobellis, Chief Executive Officer, at (800) 525-3467. She is responsible for accessibility at RA Fischer Co.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the HHS Office for Civil Rights, or call 1-800-368-1019 (TDD: 1-800-537-7697). You do not have to contact us first.

How we assess our site

We review our site using a combination of automated testing tools and manual testing, including keyboard-only navigation and screen reader testing. A full review is currently underway with outside technical assistance. We will update this section when it is complete.
